This was made for a retiring department director.  The block is Chimney Sweep or Christian Cross. It measures 75 x 85. Made in 2011.

Very nice.  I've always wanted to do a signature or firnedship quilt.  Did each signer also make the block they signed?  Are the signatures in ink only or embroidered over ink?  Just curious.

Thanks for posting!!!

Debra,

Each signer just put his/her name on the block.  I sewed all the blocks and the quilt.  The signatures are put on with permanent Pigma Mincron 05 pens.  The other signature quilt I made (it's blue and yellow in my gallery) was more difficult as the signers kept forgetting to leave the 1/4 inch seam allowance when they signed. I finally drew on the seam allowance to show the border of where they could write.  Thanks for looking at my gallery and being so encouraging.
