I made this tote bag as a gift for a friend.  It is a Quilts Illustrated pattern called Charm Party Tote.  I have made a few of these because they're so easy and fun.  There is very little cutting because you use charm squares for the body of the bag.

The lining is the same fabric as the handles.  There are also pockets on each side of the inside made from 4 charm squares for each pocket.
