This is the baby quilt I made for my Granddaughter due to be born March 9th, 2012.  Her parents wanted pink, brown and green for colors to match some other items they purchased.  I seached for fabric coordinates and made this.  Her baby shower is coming this next Saturday and it's currently in the mail!

Cute quilt.  Does that design have a name or is it your own creation?

The pattern was one of those Walmart free "Quilter's Collectibles" patterns that they feature free each month with the fabric to make it.  It was called "Lots of Dots" and was featured on Aug 2011.  They had a whole different assortment of fabrics, though and I redrafted it to make the blocks smaller.  The orginal pattern has 14" blocks, I made the quilt blocks 12" and the totebag blocks 10" by shrinking the templates on my copy machine and picked my own fabrics.  I used wonder Under and machine applique with satin stitch.  Fun and easy to make.  I plan to make another baby quilt using 10" blocks instead, so the finished quilt will be smaller.
