Have been wanting to work with this design. Using the Accuquilt Go! cutter, 4" HST and 4" QST dies and 4 fat quarters and a 1/2 yard WOF for the background to make eight 12" squares. Was far easier than i thought - and love the outcome.
Very nice! Great colors.
One of my favorite patterns. It looks so involved, but really isn't. Love the oranges!
The Card Trick is absolutely my most favorite block - and you did a WONderful job with them!
Are you planning on making this larger or making a table runner? Nice bright colors.
@Marge - i've got enough of the fabrics to make 8 squares and enough of a coordinating set to make 8 more for a total of 16. I'd like to find good border fabrics to make at least a full size if not queen. However, i'm famous for making tops and never finishing them....
Well Greg - you are in good company here. There are a lot of tops out there waiting to be quilted.
wow - this is so pretty! It looks hard.
Love this Card Trick and the colors. As a beginner, what are the steps in getting started?
greg, i sarted counting tops and partial tops once, when i got to 40 i got kinda queasy and stopped counting, but more kept popping into my head. it's a vicious but exciting cycle, sorta like running white water rapids. you start conting, your heart rate goes up, you remember more, your BP raises....... i get a real workout without the excersize.
you blocks are great BTW
