Rubber Ducky quilt...charity quilt.
Love the colors!!
Is that for Quilts for Kids? I just did one of the same pattern in cowboy/western prints.
OOPS... Just noticed the title! Answered my question :)
Very cute Nancy, it will make some little one very happy
I contacted my local chapter a few months back and am awaiting a kit. Any advice for a newbie..
Your quilt is gorgeous - the colours bright and cheerful - any child would love it. It's a happy quilt.
Cute Nancy. I just sent one back to them yesterday but didn't take a picture. I like the fabrics in yours!
I often make quilts to be auctioned off for my local dog rescues... I love making quilts for a good cause! How does Quilts for Kids work and how do you get involved?

I haven't made any quilts for Quilt for Kids yet. I've been making quilts for Tyler's Justice Center. It serves abused children in 3 local counties. It's a good feeling knowing that our quilts are going to comfort someone. ~Jeanne
So cute. What child wouldn't just love to snuggle under that.?
thanks for the link Mielnina....there's not a Dallas TX chapter so I contacted them about starting one. I think i'll see if there's anyone in the area that would like to start a chapter up with me....
I have been enjoying making blankets and quilts for Project Linus (www.projectlinus.org). They accept a variety of styles for most age groups. I am having a great time. I may never meet the recipients but I can imagine the smiles the blankets bring to their faces. I love the pattern shown in the photograph. Sharon
The thing I liked about QFK is that they sent you the fabric, and it was pre-cut. Made it really quick and easy to put together. Especially since I don't really like to cut the fabrics. I could be wrong, but I don't think Project Linus sends you the material. However, both groups do great work helping children, and that's what is the most important.
I just got precut fabric quilt kit in the mail today for QFK. It's the pinwheel pattern. Can't wait to start but I think I have to get my machine serviced. I knocked over a cup of coffee right where the cords plug into the machine and the darn thing won't stop running unless I unplug it. I'll wait till tomorrow to see if it dries out. Arrrrgggg!
