My quilt group exchanged nine patch blocks made from Civil War fabrics for an entire year.   This is what I made with mine.  I laid the blocks out by color in diagonal rows to give it a more organized, scrappy look and for dramatic effect.

this is award winning are you sharing your pattern wow i cann't even imagine how many pieces are in this did you ever count them how long did it take to make this it definitely is a heirloom!
