I made this quilt following the "technicolor Braid" pattern that I saw on the "Fons and Porter" show.  I added a little flange along the border...

I fussy cut the fabric so the flange has little snails and turtles "crawling" all round it... :)

I used Moda's Love U fabric line...

My soon to be born, granddaughter will love this quilt hopefully... :)

Kris this is a very cute quilt.  I loved french braids, although I've only made one.  Haven't got it quilted yet...it's on my list of UFO's in the UFO group.

What a great quilt!  I blew it up to get a good look at the fabrics.  These are wonderful fabrics for this baby quilt.  The snails and turtles are so cute going around the edge.
