This is a table topper from a Fons & Porter magazine.  I have always wanted to try this one. This was my first try at irregular shapes.  I did more ripping making this than I have done in probably a year all put together.  Once the top was done, it didn't lie quite flat on the table.  However, with some serious pressing, creative pinning, and the use of fusible fleece batting, I managed to get it to lie flat and look pretty good.  I really, really like it.   It'll be a while before I try this one again, however.

i can see why you like it,  it's a great pattern and you have done a wonderful job with color selection and placement.

Wow!  It was worth all the effort you put into it! Love the colors. Looks like it's ready to pop right off the table!

Great job. Was this paper piecing? I could so see this done in oranges and yellows. Love it!

This was in Easy Quilts Fall 2007.  Interestingly, the one in the magazine was done in Halloween colors, orange and black and yellow!  It was not paper piecing.  They have outlines of templates to make but I had ordered the template set from them.  Thank you everyone for your kind words!

beautiful, looks like it has some of the ovarian cancer fabric in it.  I have done two quilts with the ovarian fabrics  one for  each of my grand daughters.  My sister and I both have been fighting OVCA.
