I was asked in November by a student at Quilter's depot if I would teach her how to make a DWR quilt - well I hadn't made one in years so told her yes but wasn't sure exactly when I would be teaching - I started this one in I think November and started the group here to help me fine tune the teaching of this quilt - I finished mine a couple weeks ago - I have the backing ordered and will quilt it shortly - I haven't taught Betty how to make it yet - but we will have that class soon - I did teach about 4 other women how to make the first part which was the arcs and melons - they have a long way to go... I enjoy this quilt but it is very precise and you have to really take your time... I have 2 more to make of different size rings - this one was the 18" size - I have the 15 and 12 to go... soon....

OH Wow Thea! I love those soft colors and muted gradiational changes you have going there. This really sparkles.

Don't know if I will ever feel confident enough to tackle this pattern, Thea.  You did a wonderful job.
