These placemats are made with a panel fabric and coordinating backing fabric. This combo has the "red" backing.

Very Pretty Placemats, the birds are so pretty. Great colors. Marlene
Thank you all for your kind words. I enjoyed the panel because of the variety offered. There were five different birds and in some cases they were facing in opposite directions. I cut the birds out and then pieced around them. I have completed 7 sets now and have more birds but I am taking a break from them and working on something else.
