This table runner is not meant to hang off the ends of the table, which is a blessing for those with small children or pets.  It is a Pam Bono Pattern called Holiday Flora.  A little intimidating at first, but I actually think I'm going to like these patterns when I get a little more practice.  I started this one on December 21 at 8:30 pm and sewed until 12:30 am, then got up on December 22 and finished hand sewing the binding.  I gave it to my niece as a Christmas house warming gift that afternoon.  She was amazed....me too....  LOL

It's absolutely beautiful.  It does look hard to do.  Are the poinsettias appliqued?  Or did you actually do curved piecing?  I'm pretty knew to all of this fancy stuff...have only done things that required sewing in a straight line.

Now that I look at it closer, I see there are no curved lines, it is all straight piecing.  It's still beautiful and maybe even I could make this.

Very nice Carlene.  The background fabric you chose really works well in your design.

Oh, and thanks for naming the designer and pattern.  I just ordered a copy!

I have finally started tackling a big Pam Bono design that was published in Quilters Newsletter in the summer and fall issues.  The name of the quilt is Circle of Blooms.  Same technique, but on a larger scale.  I am really liking these patterns, since they are all pieced and not applique.
