Who is Dr. Who?

This is a quilt I've been calling my ugly Dr. Who quilt.  I made this for my British son-in-law who is a real Dr. Who (a British television program) fan.  I have no idea what the show is even about as I have never seen it, but it didn't turn out quite as ugly as I thought it would.  I'm still not fond of it, however.

I'm with you Karla -- don't have a clue who Dr. Who is but I like the pattern you used.

Well from looking at the only Dr. Who fabric I could find (at $18/yd no less), I have to assume it is about a time machine and maybe robots...

I love your quilt and Dr. Who.  I've watched it for years on PBS and he's a time traveler.  His time travel machine is a British Call Box(phone booth).  Looks small from the outside but huge on the inside.  He gets into all kinds of little predicaments.  I'll have to see about that fabric.

Dr. Who is a really good tv show. I'm sure he will appreciate the thought. I really like the quilt.

Dr. Who is a great show!  I didn't even know that they made ANY fabric about Dr.Who. It looks like the border is the Tardis (an old-fashioned British phone booth which is his time travel ship).   I'm sure that he will love it.  

...and David Tennant ROCKS! (he was the Dr. Who before the latest one)

Karla - I know you didn't "like" this quilt but it turned out great
