I made this lap quilt for a friend last year.  Saw some printed fabric and came up with the idea.  

I looked for snowmen and fussy cut them out of 5 different fabrics.

Love your quilt.  I started gathering fun prints as substitutes for the cabins in a similar pattern.  You've inspired me.

laf - I would love to share the pattern, but don't have one...I used high tech stuff - the snow globes template was made with the outline of drinking glass,  the base is just a trapezoid shape, and the snow was just freeform scribbling :)  Then I stitched everything down with a cross stitch pattern on my machine.

This is really creative and a great gift. I love that you are low tech. I love that about quilting. (seeing the beautiful things folks create).
