This is my SewBatik Challenge quilt I made for the 2011 NQA show in Colombus, Ohio. The brown batik is the challenge fabric. The theme was log cabins and I chose to stitch a rendition of my hot tub, a true cabin fever reliever in the frigid Michigan winters. I embellished it with yarn, lace and picot trims, sequins, netting, seed beads, and silver foil stars.

Well Pamela - did you win anything at the show with your cute art quilt.  I have braved Michigan winters but don't think I would be sitting outdoors in a hot tub.  Thanks but no thanks!

No ribbons, but fun to see my quilt hanging in the show. The best time to be out in a hot tub is when it's cold outside.
