Baltimore "Scherenschnette"

A scherenschnette quilt is one made where all sides are the same, i.e., if you cut out a square and folded it in quarters and then cut a design and open it up, it would make a beautiful piece.  That is this quilt.

Wow! Totally Gorgeous! Funny that you would explain the scherenschnette concept. I found my scherenschnette scissors last night and realized how long it had been since I'd worked on anything in that medium. LOL! Is this an original design or did you get the patterns somewhere? I adore this.

Emily, This is just stunning. I have heard of this technique done with paper but not with fabric. I is truly incredible.
