I was at Barn Door Quilts in downtown Sturgeon Bay and saw this quilt on the back wall. It was immediately obvious that this was a quilt of Door County. It looked and felt like the Door. My husband is a Door County native, who now lives nearly 1000 miles away, so I decided to buy the pattern and make it for him. It was indeed a labor of love and hundreds of hours. But it was worth it. A beautiful quilt. Designed by Barbara B. Williams, a Door County resident. Quilting by Paula Ross at the Curiosity Shop, Yellville, AR.
