My sister, Jonnie Phillips did five cross stitch Native American Indian pictures for my son Scott. He loves Indian things and really enjoys these. When he was first diagnosed with cancer, a cousin gave him some Indian things. He has been "gifted" several times with beautiful NAI gifts. He really wants a quilt in NAI design. I have not been able to find a pattern for one but will try to do one. I guess I have kind of dragged my feet on it because of having to aknowledge his illness.

Did she use kits or find the designs in a book?

She used kits from Hobby Lobby. They were expensive but worth the cost. She did all the work for free! LOL

She added golden threads througout some of the pictures, her special touch, when the light shines on them the waters glisten, etc.

Good luck!
