I made 2 of these in different types of batiks. I just make a template that happened to work out! I made these in a day - probably about 36 x 36. I love these to take to the park or in the car or stroller, they are not too big or bulky and falling all over the place. My daughters love them. I know they will outgrow them eventually but for a days worth of work, totally worth it.  Rayann is my second daughter, she is now 7.5 months old.

I love this idea..........I assume you raw edge appliqued the name on the quilt??  It is so cute.  I'm going to make one for my grandson.  8-)

Thank yoi! Yeah i did raw edge with a small zig zag stitch with matching thread   thus is such an easy and fast project. I made it in a day   I designed one with a horse head outline and hoseshoe with a few whimsical stars but have not made it yet. A rocking horse or teddy bear would be cute too
