I made this 15" X 20" Doll Fan Quilt for my Mother for Christmas 1994. She had a doll from her childhood years redone and I tried to match the colors of it's new dress. I have also posted  the doll in my gallery.

I attempted the "Little Quilt Collection" Fan Doll Quilt  pattern and had difficulty so made the fan pattern from my own template. I used 100% cotton fabrics and machine pieced with hand applique. There are six fan blocks, one border of 1 1/2" and another border of 3" was added. Most of the hand quilting was "in the ditch", with a heart hand quilted at the corner of each block.
