I made this quilt and donated it to our local Relay For Life Walk, September 10, 2011. We sold raffle tickets on it and raised over $500. The ribbons represent each of the different types of cancer and I used pre-printed panels for the squares with Quotes. Each ribbon and quote are appliqued onto complimentary colored blocks. The quilt was machine quilted with ribbons edge to edge. I love this quilt and hated to pass it on! However the winner of my quilt was herself a cancer survivor and she was tickled pink to receive it.
