These are made from the Christmas Lights mystery by Bonnie Hunter that appeared in Quiltmaker magazine a couple of years ago.  The pattern called for bunches of 4 patches, which I already had on hand, so I made for each of my sisters in law.

WOW Great quilts!  Scraps or yardage?

All scraps.

The picture makes the quilts look identical, but there are lots of differences. The golds, reds and blacks are totally different and one quilt uses pinks/blues in the four patch units while the other uses oranges and browns.

More pretty quilts and patterns. I'm sure your sisters-in-law are enjoying them.

Love em!  Bonnie can certainly point us all in a creative direction with new ideas, can't she. :)
