Tee Shirt Rag Quilt

This is good way to preserve a lifetime of tee shirts.  I prepared the tee shirts with interfacing, then squared up the blocks with flannel.  These were sandwiched with flannel and quilted individually.  Then I sewed them together with a 1/2 inch seam allowance, seams to the front.  These were clipped and the quilt was washed several times to fray the allowances.

Hey thanks for the technique and photo sharing good job. I was planning on doing this for my concert tshirts I own and doing one for my bf with his logo shirts he has multiplies of :)

Great job on the quilt!  Thank you so much for sharing your technique.  I've been saving some of my children's t-shirts for years with the intention of making a quilt!
