Moses is my best friend, comfort Kitty, computer buddy and sewing "consultant". He is about eleven years old and is the best helper! Him and I love this rag quilt!! He says "Ma Ma", rolls over on demand and does excerises every day! He lies on his back, twists from side to side and stretches as long and as far as he can to keep in shape. (If only he knew how overweight he is!  Wt 15 -18lbs)

Love it!!!  I too have a kitty who is my quilting buddy.

Misty (who is 16) insists on being the first one to use each new quilt.

I don't know what it is about a pet laying on an old quilt, but it is a comfort, isn't it?

Moses looks quite comfortable on "his" quilt.

I have a cat that likes to "help". If I am hand quilting, he will play with my fingers on the underside......gets my attention with a little nibbling. LOL

I have a question, I have been playing with this method. I can not get my seams to join as nicely as yours. I do not want to cut  and rag this quilt as it is for my friend who says the "fringe" is not manly. Can you help me?

maybe I can help you...what I do is nest the intersections and then put in just a few stitches..just enough to hold the intersection in place...go to next intersection and repeat...when all intersections in one row complete to my satisfaction I then stitch the entire row...that way if one is off I only half to remove three or four stitches...does this make any sense?

wonderful quilt and kitty...brings a smile to my face
