This 100% cotton 12" X 15" little crumb quilt with 3 1/2" blocks was inspired by the internet after a cousin mentioned she loved making crumb quilts. I did not know how they were made so I googled it.

It is paper pieced with random left over pieces of other misfit blocks and small scraps of fabric. It was hand tied when finished. A binding was added.

Interesting way to use up blocks that don't get used in the planned quilt. I like this idea & will have to goggle it myself.

This is what I've been doing for years. I didn't realize it had a name called to it. But I don't make small ones. I make them into big quilts. I don't always paper piece either because I make 12" blocks. I just sew fabric together until I get enough to cut a 12" block.

Isn't this pretty much the same as a Crazy Quilt?  I like this.
