I made this as a wedding gift for my niece and her new husband a few years ago.  Since she knew what she was getting and she has an excellent eye for color (she's the one I just made the Dino baby quilt for) I broke my own rules and let her pick both the quilt pattern and the fabrics.  Little did I realize this quilt had over 1200 pieces to cut and assemble!  Quite the challenge I must say - which is why they got it almost 5 months after the wedding.  This was one of the few times I forgot to get a picture before the quilt left my hands so I had to get one once it was already in use.  My design wall was definitely a must when figuring out the flow of the colors!

I really like this.  Your niece may have picked the colors, but when I look at your gallery, it looks like it was designed by the same person.  You put your stamp on it, somehow.
