My daughter bought this fabric and it wound up in my stash.  Now my favoriate brown eyed grand son was made a Noah's Ark quilt by me when he was born and this fabric seemed a good one to use to do sort of a in memory of or take off on the Noah's Ark.  I saw this design in Keepsake Quilters cataloge and thought it would be a good way to showcase the fabric.  In the detail you can see I'm still in the learning process of getting my quilting design to match when I remove the quilt and turn it  to quilt sashing and borders running the other direction.  However brown eyes thinks it's cool so it stands, errors in quilting and all.

Glad to see I'm in good company...I have that same problem when I have to flip the quilt around on the frame.  One day we'll have it down pat and perfect (I can only hope).

Your quilt is great.  I's sure your grandson loves it and the memory.  Really like the way you pieced this quilt very imaginative.

Love how you came up with the idea to do this and put it together. My own design I came up for the valentines one was my most imaginative without a class or pattern for whole quilt.
