Crayon Color Block Quilt

This 52 X 64 quilt is special because while we were living in TN, our family from OH often visited us. My neices and nephew liked for me to have a project or craft for them to do when they came. I decided a quilt would be nice and the kids enjoyed doing the blocks. I had planned on giving the quilt to my sister, the children's Grandmother, however she passed away from breast cancer before I was able to get the quilt to her. It was machine quilted by Debra Ledbetter from Pulaski, TN.

Kathy, you are so very creative and thoughtful in using your quilting to bless others lives.  The kids will always remember their part in this special quilt.

What a nice quilt.  Too bad that you weren't able to "gift it" to your sister but I am sure she sees it. :o)

It makes me sad that your sister didn't see it before she passed, but I suspect she is looking down and seeing it through her new eyes by now.

I'm working on crayon-colored Bible quilts. I have a few artists working on the coloring pages so they will be uniform for quilt blocks so the project is in its infancy. You might enjoy checking it out and trying it with your grandchildren.
