I made this 23 X 29, 100% cotton, machine pieced, hand embroideried, hand tied, little quilt  for a late 1920's doll cradle my Mother Betty Phillips gave me. She was born September 29, 1927.  It  was made for her by her Grandpa Issac Meyers. He made it for no specific occassion. This would have been my Mother's, Mother's, Father.

I also made a thin "mattress", and  small pillow and sheet set to go with the cradle. I love the look with this special cradle!  The quilt is NOT crooked, it just needed ironing from being in the cradle.

OMG, again. You just ooz great talent. I have not done any foundation peicing. Afraid to try. After seeing this I would love to try. Wish you were close so I could learn from you. This is too great. I would love to see a pic of the whole cradle with the quilt on it. My kinda thing, for sure.

What a great addition to that precious keepsake the cradle is wonderful as well. I was glad to see the dimensions for a doll quilt.
