This machine pieced 86 X 106 Quilt was so much fun to make! One 100% cotton fabric, cut percisely as directed, made eighteen completely different machine pieced blocks! These blocks were set together with lightly printed light beige fabric. The inner solid color border is 2", another border added was made from the one "chosen fabric" that made the blocks, is 6" wide, and then another 2" solid border added to the final edge.  It was Machine quilted by Debra Ledbetter from Pulaski, TN.

THis quilt was not complicated at all. I could not afford the classes so bought the book and taught myself and then taught my Mom. She had never made a quilt before. Her's actually is prettier than mine!

Kathy, it looks great!  I agree...the stack-n-whack is easy to do.  I have done several of these myself and currently have one in process.  It's just amazing to see the blocks as they come together.

Beautiful color combination.

Love this quilt and it is a project I would really like to try.  Like you I would probably buy the book and see what I could accomplish.  Beautiful Kathy.

Wow!  What a beautiful quilt!  I LOVE the large-scale floral print--something I need to use more of.  Very nice.  Oh, and I did not miss the little black Manx checking it out,either.  :)

Beautiful blocks, and such a nice variety!  I've enjoyed working on my first SnW, and seeing yours has inspired me to get mine finished!

Pat, you noticed my Manx! His name is Moses. He is my "comfort kitty". He is 11 years old. He sleeps in a basket beside my sewing machine while I sew.

That is a beautiful quilt!  I love that they are spaced out and can be seen individually!  So much better than having them all together, in my opinion.
