This 100% cotton 83" X 94" pinwheel quilt consists of lots of 3 3/4" assorted fabric printed pinwheel blocks alternated with 3 3/4" assorted squares. A Rotary cutter was used for cutting the pieces. The completed machine pieced blocks were then given an inner and outer border. The quilt harbors a 100% cotton batting. The quilt was machine quilted by Debra Ledbetter of Pulaski, TN.
I must have slept through construction of this quilt. I barely remember construction all those little blocks! I do remember adding the borders! I also know I was inspired when I had seen a Pinwheel quilt someone was using for a "table cloth" at a Wal Mart store in Pulaski, TN. It was such a beautiful quilt and I wanted to make one. I looked through my stash of fabrics and chose to make it "scrappy with organization". I cannot remember where I found the pattern, or the exact time I made this quilt. I believe it was about 1997, but not sure. I must stay awake from now on and enjoy the process!!
