Great detail!  Is the child actually the photo on fabric and the rest of the picture all fabric or are you just that good???  Wow!

Thank you all so much for all the positive comments. It was one of my quickest quilts. Great subject. I actually found 2 pink nylon gift bags to use for the net, and I sketched his face with coloured pencil as i usually do.

I highlight with pencil to give the added touch of realism. It was from a photo his dad had posted on Facebook.

I love this! Thanks for sharing some of your techniques. If you used colored pencil on a bed quilt, would it wash out?

I am sure using coloured pencil would not be recommended for anything that is going to be  used frequently and washed.
