I made this quilt out of the hand appliqued quilt blocks I made to illustrate my Bible storybook, The Creation. I still have some quilting to do on the applique pieces using a large hoop. This has been a learning experience as it is the first serious quilt I have ever completed. Prior to this I made a simple hexagon baby quilt to test my sewing skills, and I started a crayon-colored quilt with my grandchildren that still needs final quilting. www.biblequilts.com
