Ok, last post...I swear! I will quit begging for help! lol. This is her on the floor of the front section of the bus. The floor is made from 'Purple Heart' wood that was shipped in from South American. The color of this wood is just amazing! That's why I did the Purple Heart in the center. I can't wait to get her back from California all pretty and quilted! Once I get her back, I have to wash her and fix any 'spots' that we know all quilts have! and ship her to Keith who will be on his way to New York already to pick up his first passenger. A disabled veteran from Iraq who is going to be accompanied by 2 911 firemen!! I told Keith it would be a great photo op to have those wonderful firemen help you put Big Bertha up in the bus! That's how I convinced him for more time!
If you want to see this bus in person at the Houston show, I need your help in convincing the show manager! I know it's a long shot but I can dream right?? LOL...the bus is also stocked with QOVs for his passengers to keep! If you'd like to see the inside of this amazing bus go to International Quilt Festival's FaceBook page and say you want to see the wounded warrior bus! I"m hoping to get their attention!
