When I lived in Arizona, I made church banners. The church I made this one for had a stained glass window of Jesus. They asked me to make a banner for their 50th anniversary with the theme "Keep Telling the Story". The design that popped into my head was that stained glass window of Jesus coming out of a Bible. So here is my rendition. It is all machine applique...Jesus is done in watercolor fabrics, which gave it a stained glass effect. The church was very pleased with the final result.
