I started this quilt at retreat in August 2009. It is all hand applique and hand quilted. The quilting echoes the applique work in the center. It is my first attempt at this type of quilting. If I find the time, I'd love to make another Celtic quilt or wall hanging. It is very time consuming however. It is also one of the first quilts I've done for myself. I mostly quilt for children's charities or my grandchildren.

Gorgeous! Is the pattern available somewhere?

Any advice for the bias applique? I'm trying to teach myself to do it, with the Clover fusible bias tape maker.
