A queen/king quilt I made from an accumulation of 1 1/2" strips I'd saved from all my previous quilts.  I made this for my son who was moving into a new apartment.  I machine quilted this on my regular home sewing machine, and I used a wandering leave pattern.  He wanted it cuddly so I did not quilt it real close together.

So pretty! You did a great job. I think the log cabin is one of my favorite blocks because it's so versatile!

I love the light/dark values. I just completed a quilt with light/dark values.  Your log cabin quilt is very striking and eye catching. Beautiful!

Log cabin - my favorite. You have given your son wonderful memories of a wonderful dad. Ever so beautiful. And yes, cuddly.
