I made this wall-hanging from a pattern I've had in my "to-do" pile for years.   I just came across it this summer and decided it was time to make it.  I gave it to my daughter for her birthday last week, September 29th, and she was very pleased to receive it.  The pattern came from a 1993 Quiltmaker magazine and required the use of templates.  I loved using some batiks in this project and love that each leaf mimics the leaves of New England in Fall.

Love the colors in your quilt.  The maple leaf pattern is a great pattern for a fall quilt.  Good job!

The rich fall colors give such a feeling of warmth.  Finishing a UFO with such beautiful results must be very rewarding.
