Unlocking the Future

I made this twin size quilt for my niece, Christina, for her high school graduation.  I used mostly keyhole blocks to symbolize the myriad number of doors she can open on the next stage of her life journey.  It's made of Bali pops and coordinated yardage, with an electric blue (her favorite color) batik pieced backing.  It was inspired by a pattern by Helen Mulder Petersen and was quilted by "The Gammie Gals" at Pieceful Gathering Quilt Shop, Fox River Grove, Illinois.

I like the quilt, and I think its doable at my level of experience with quilting.  I really enjoy it and have a few projects going on.
