My first table runner - batiks

This was my first attempt at quilting! I am quite happy with the results. Choosing the fabric is my favorite part of any new project, and batiks are my favorite!!

I am madly in love with batiks also and this is a great table runner.  I'm really trying to broaden my horizons with other fabric and I've found some great ones, but bright colors are my thing.

This is a beautiful table runner and gorgeous batiks.  I think you did a fabulous job of choosing your colors and you are going to have a great future in quilting.  Happy stitching.

How beautiful!  I have some batiks and wanted to use them for something I'd see all of the time.  This would be perfect!  May I ask about your pattern?   Thanks!

Thank you all!! I am humbled to think that this has inspired some of you. The back of the runner is one piece of the same fabric that is used in the wide border area. My friend who taught a few of us how to quilt this gave us the pattern ... I will see if she remembers where she got it. :)

Very bright & cheery.  I'm a beginner quilter and also did a similar pattern for my very first table runner.

OK guys - I got the pattern from the friend that taught me how to make this. I guess if you email me I could send it to you? Not sure how to send it other than that. :)
