I mostly sew for charity, but saw a need among my own friends and family for quilts. I started something I call "angel whispers" on facebook.  I posted that anyone that would like a quilt to send me an e-mail with a few facts that I had listed...fave colors, hobbies and such. WOW... what a blessing!! I got back quite a few responses an entered them into a notebook and started kind of praying about it. I had told everyone there was no certain time limit on these and the list went according to the "whispers". It's like a gentle nudge that I get for who needs the next quilt, I've done 12 so far this year. This one was for a guy that had a bad injury and had been out of work a while and was very depressed! I only knew he'd been out of work . When I gave him this quilt he cried, he told me it meant so much and all the other things going on in his life and so it's been with all of them, they seem to go to the recipient at a down time in their life and bring some cheer. So I always have my earopen and listening for the next "whisper" Sorry so long and hope I didn't bore you all. This was a pattern from a quilt magazine.

I'm currently trying to make quilts for all of my nieces and's a slow process getting them done between the baby quilts, wedding quilts, etc...but I'm working on it.  I really like your idea though.
