The quilt group I used to belong to had what they called a paint challenge. you were to pull out a paint color strip with like 4 or 5 colors that go together on it and make something out of it we could add 2 colors to it is we needed to. So my colors were the 3 shades of brown and the 2 shades of teal. I added the pink because it was in the print that I found that tied all my colors together. This is also the Irish mist pattern that I used on my daughters. It is a King size made of cotton/poly.

Isn't it amazing how different color pallettes change the look of a pattern?  Both of these quilts are lovely.
