My first "art quilt" - an adaption of a Janet Pittman pattern. This was made a few years ago when I could still do hand work. All of the leaves are hand blanket stitched.

Makes me feel cooler just looking at it, beautiful, I can't do hand work either...old auther just won't let me!!! So glad we have sewing machines and can still create!

Thanks, all. Not sure what I would do now without my machines. Old Arther gets to sit back and watch while I learn to create in new ways!

You do just the most amazing work.  Who is old auther/arther?  Thinking spouse, cat, arthritis?

Yes, Ann. Old Arthur is what a few of us call our arthritis - gotta keep that humor going.
