I made this for my daughters School Auction. It was supposed to be a throw, but it kept getting bigger & Bigger! Since I used my bed for a model, it became EXTREAMLEY

difficult  to let go of when it came time to donate. The quilt brought $ 560.00. All to a wonderful cause.  ~However, Id pay 1,000 to have it back. This was a HARD lesson learned.

I spent too much time and money, and truly a labor of love. I wished I would have made something for half the money and half the time, and kept this one! The expression, give till it hurts. ........................... Mercy! It still hurts!!!

Oh Monika --- I can see why you loved this one!  I love the fabrics!!!  Did the focal blocks come from a panel.  Is it possible to find the fabric online and make your self one TO KEEP?  I am glad it raised so much money but I feel your pain.
