My first quilt I ever made was a log cabin wall hanging.
However, I am considering this my first real quilt. It is made up of five different block styles - Star Variation Block, Aunt Dinah's Block, Pinwheel Block, Martha Washington Star Block, and Drunkard's Path Block. Since I chose material that all had seashell themes, I hand quilted different seashells in the large yellow blocks. I completed it with machine quilting around the outer border and added a label on the back. I've been told that quilters (like true artists) always sign their works of art!
