One month before turning 18 (so he was still a juvenile), my son Andrew was caught speeding. As community service, he made 4 quilts for the homeless shelter in that jurisdiction. He did all the designing, cutting and piecing, I did the machine quilting and binding.

He did a great job on all of those half square triangles.  The fabric will make you dizzy if you stare at it a while.  :o)
