When most people think of tea parties, they think soothing pastels and fancy manners. When I think of tea parties, I think of 3 crazy, colorful little girls fluttering around like butterflies. My friend Cassie hosts a weekly tea party / playdate / adult conversational and all our daughters get to boogie while we pretend to be adults. LOL. These tea parties inspired this block.
I plan on making this block the centerpiece of a tummy time mat for my friend's new baby. The wings are flutter-able and the butterfly's body is stuffed with crinkly plastic.
