I love the triangle portion of this paper pieced quilt pattern!  Because the triangles vary greatly in size, I was able to use tiny scraps of fabric - some of which had been handed down to me from my grandmother.  She had used the fabrics to make dresses for my mother and her sisters.

The curves required quite a bit of hand basting, but the quilt is absolutely my favorite!

Gorgeous quilt and very special because of the handed down fabric.   Display it or use it with pride!

wow.  such a great quilt and story.  you did an amazing job.  did you quilt it?  The quilting certainly add a great dimension to an already wonderful quilt.  I hope that you proudly display this for people to see in person.

You did an outstanding job on that quilt, it is so pretty, no it's gorgeous!  I love all the subtle jewel colors, that shiny fabric really makes it look expensive.

Many thanks to all for these kind and generous comments.

I loved making this quilt - especially finding ways to incorporate my Grandmother's fabrics.

I had it quilted by a wonderful woman who does long arm quilting.  She did such wonderful work!

It hangs in an alcove in the hallway - visible from almost every room in the house.  But not even in indirect sunlight - in Arizona the sun is so strong it would quickly fade the fabrics.

Again, many thanks.
