Faith, Hope, Love & Joy Prayer Quilt

My church has a ministry called "Prayers & Squares". Quilts are made for someone in need of comfort, ties are put in. When the quilt is selected, people say prayers for the recipient so that when they received the quilt, every tie represents a prayer said just for them.  I do at least minimal machine quilting to make sure the quilts stay together in the wash.

This quilt was made with a Flying Geese ruler.  Since this was my first try with the ruler, The 2 sizes of triangles came out opposite what I expected, so I had to totally revise my plan for the block.  I was also trying out a new basic embroidery machine
