I want to try and make a Patriotic Folk Art quilt out of plaids. This is my first block for the quilt. I have the other blocks ready to start. I like designing my own blocks from things I have seen or read about it makes it fun because there are no rules to follow except the 10 1/2 inch size, but what a great size to start with.        Lisa

It is realy nice, love the saying around the girl with the flag, perfect for the 4th of July, is the whole quilt going to be patreotic like this block is, I hope so, I can't wait for you to post a picture of the finished quile, it will be awesome I'm sure.    Theresia
