This was my first project using the Sizzix Big Shot to cut my applique shapes, fusible web and free motion quilting.  I did a little thread painting on top the large appliqued leaves and decorative stitched the applique raw edges.

Nice work.  Are the curly Q's appliqued too?

Yes, the curly Q shapes were cut with my Big Shot and raw edge fused to the background fabric.  I did not decorative stitch them since I don't plan on washing the wall hanging, but the fusible seems to be keeping them firmly fused for now.

Thanks for asking!  :)

Lovely - those curly Qs look like a lot of work!  :-)
